Kronos has much experience in design, development and verification of commercial avionicx, especially where DO-178B/C guidelines are required. The staff has experience in working many systems including: C-17, A320/A340, MD80, Apache Longbow, B737, B777, etc. Areas include: FMS, APU Controllers, FADEC, Navigation, Cabin Pressure Systems, Displays, Radios, EFIS, fly-by-wire, etc. These real-time embedded systems entailed development of I/O drivers, built-in-tests, operating environments, loaders, control logic, business logic, etc.
Satellite project experience includes: Iridium, Globalstar, and Orbcomm. Satellite payload software systems must function correctly when deployed into space as there is no second chance. Kronos employees worked hard difficult schedules to ensure that the initial software phase worked upon launch and were to be successful. Subsequently, other software builds were uploaded to the satellite systems to provide the functions required for revenue generation. On the ground segments, Kronos employees designed and developed systems to control the new satellite constellations. Our employees also developed embedded applications that drove the subscriber communicators for specialized asset tracking and controlling functions.
